Dr. Schow and his family are originally from Utah and were attracted to New Mexico because of its cultural diversity and natural beauty. He graduated from Weber State University and completed his dental degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at Denver Health Medical Center and later completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa. Besides his expertise in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting and oral pathology, he has a special interest in corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), alveolar cleft grafting and is part of the facial trauma team at the University of New Mexico.
In his spare time, Dr. Schow enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, skiing and is an avid football fan.
